How do most creatures react to extreme and sudden stress? They run around! The world’s freshwater is filled with tiny organisms that do just that.
Daphnia is a small shrimp-like creature that lives its life hopping through water (and for that, often called a “water flea” - see the video below!).
After further analysis of their movements, we can draw conclusions on the state of the environment:
